The Carnival Theme Park

Last monday, while the Hindus in our country were busy celebrating Deepavali, our little family decided to have a lil celebration of the holiday that we seldom have, at a theme park.

As we woke up rather late that morning - or afternoon I'd say - our initial plan to go to Bukit Merah was cancelled. Mr Hubby suggested that we should go to the one in Sungai Petani instead, as it's nearer to home.

So that afternoon at around 1, we pushed off to the Carnival. Arrived at around 2++pm, and the weather was quite hot. Irfan slept all the way, and was still sleeping when we arrived. Mama put him in the stroller and he was stiiiiiiillll sleeping when we entered the park. Both mama and abah decided to go for the waterpark as we were pretty sure that we wouldn't be able to take Irfan along on rides they have in the dry park.

After we rented a locker and went to change, hubby had to wake Irfan up for his shower before we dip him into the ever-so-cold water. Having to wake up from his afternoon nap made Irfan quite cranky and cried when we first brought him into the pool. This little manja guy only bathe in warm water at home, so I guess he found the water too cold to his liking, hence the cries.

Mr Hubby posing in his kain pelekat lalalala pants :-D

The place was quite pack with people, as it was a holiday. They have quite a number of pools but it couldn't beat Sunway Lagoon as the diversity of rides in The Carnival is not as good as in Sunway Lagoon.

I did enjoy playing in the water with Mr. Hubby and Irfan. Unfortunately Irfan didn't find it quite entertaining when we run under the pouring water, or when we put him under the water cascade. He was kinda screaming and reaching out to grab our shirts, clearly saying that NO! Please dun make me go through all these just yet!!! Hahaha..

But we did enjoy the Bubble Spa, where Mama and Irfan floated in the water in the big yellow pelampung with abah guiding us around.

Mr Hubby had his fun with a few rides on the slides. They have quite a few adventurous slides, and I'd say he had much fun with those. He even screamed so loud when going down one of them and later on told me that that one made his heart drop to the bottom. Haha! And then there was entertainment for the teenagers where few of the teenage boys were having fun shuffling away at the platform near the Bubble Spa. It was quite a fun show actually as I had always heard my two younger brothers talking about this dance (shuffle) and finally being able to watch it in-person made me feel kinda wanna show off to them later. Ahaks!

Overall, we'd give the place 3 out of 5 stars as the location is quite convenient to us who lives in the North, and the rides are not so bad either.

Yesterday was a HOLIDAY for our little family!

Hubby took leave so we could settle some errants, bills and stuff. We went to tabung haji first to open an account for Irfan (yes!baruuuu nak bukak, didn't had the chance before). Then paid the bills before heading to mak's house to drop off Irfan.

After dropping him of we went to open my bank account (with C**B) and boy!can they be more unhelpful than that. We first went to the one in Jelutong but were asked to go either at the place we stay or at the place we work. Waaa...never knew that's the procedure to open a bank account. I thought you could just open one wherever, coz that was how it was with Maybank last time. Takdak pulak all these hassles of being told off and having to drive here and there just to open a stu*id account.

Then, we went to the one in U**. There was this one indian muslim lady who smiled at us (hubby to be exact) and told us to wait just for a sec. She was the one who entertained us at first, and she was being SUPER sweet towards my hubby!but NEVER towards moi :-p or maybe i was just being paranoid but whatever! yang i tak puas hati is she made such a big deal when i say i wanted to open the acount, like we need the of**r letter la and such. I was like no, I don't have it as they asked me to open the bank account FIRST before they could issue me the letter. Duh!

And then we saw Pakcik Ghouse's friend, and everything went sooo smoothly after that. See! It was just as easy as that, you shouldn't have tried to complicate the matters. Just ask your supervisor if you don't know the procedures next time yah! :-p

(Like abah said - there's nothing in this world that can't be done..u just have to find out how to make it possible)

After that, we dropped off some documents at one of the offices, went to the lawyer firm to get our properties documents and off we went to QB for a window shopping session! Yeay!

I went into all the baby boutiques that I could find in the mall, and boy! I was sooo in love with the babyGap line of clothing. Kalau boleh nak buy the shop itself so that Irfan could just come in anytime and pick his own clothes (more like mama will do it for him la kan) *wink*wink*

So from yesterday's window shopping, I currently have these among my wishlist. InsyaAllah will TRY to get it for him in the upcoming months (jika dibenarkan sang suami lah ye).

look at the colors! i bet my boy will look good in this :-D

awesome! :-p

cuteness...

ada berbagai2 la socks i want to get for him, this is among them..comei kan...

and this is my F A V O U R I T E !!

Well well...can't wait to shop for his kenduri clothes! :-p We didn't get anything at the mall actually except a lil barney for the munchkin. I wanted to get an elmo for him just becoz it's red and cute, but takdak la pulak the one that fits our criterias. It's either too big or too hard (we want a soft toy) so hubby said we'll try to look at other Toys r Us outlets next time. Oh! Btw Feezah if you are reading this, ada banyak Elmo kat Toys R Us QB, even ada yang send-a-friend Elmo tu but I loved the gigantic talking Elmo. Sangat sesuai for your Tehah. Go get one for her lah, then it can replace her smelly A'a. :-D

Tomorrow, most probably we'll be going to kedai kain to get some *chiffon for myself and whatever materials for the rest of them* for my brother in law's wedding next year.

P/s : Irfan is extra cranky today, most probably sebab tumbuh gigi. He has now got two cutest teeth on the bottom and 4 on top which are very jarang2. Ikut gigi sapa taktau :-D

If I Were A Boy

After getting influenced by Ami, I'd been listening to this song by Beyonce over and over again. It's an excellent song, boys/men should REALLY listen to this tau. :-p

If I were a boy
Even just for a day
I’d roll outta bed in the morning
And throw on what I wanted then go
Drink beer with the guys
And chase after girls
I’d kick it with who I wanted
And I’d never get confronted for it
Cause they’d stick up for me.

If I were a boy
I think I could understand
How it feels to love a girl
I swear I’d be a better man
I’d listen to her
Cause I know how it hurts
When you lose the one you wanted
Cause he’s taken you for granted
And everything you had got destroyed

If I were a boy
I would turn off my phone
T ell everyone it’s broken
So they’d think that I was sleepin’ alone
I’d put myself first
And make the rules as I go
Cause I know that she’d be faithful
Waitin’ for me to come home (to come home)

If I were a boy
I think I could understand
How it feels to love a girl
I swear I’d be a better man
I’d listen to her
Cause I know how it hurts
When you lose the one you wanted (wanted)
Cause he’s taken you for granted (granted)
And everything you had got destroyed

It’s a little too late for you to come back
Say its just a mistake
Think I’d forgive you like that
If you thought I would wait for you
You thought wrong

You know when you act like that
I don't think you realize how it makes me look or feel

But you’re just a boy
You don’t understand
Yeah you don’t understand
How it feels to love a girl someday
You wish you were a better man
You don’t listen to her
You don’t care how it hurts
Until you lose the one you wanted
Cause you’ve taken her for granted
And everything you have got destroyed

But you’re just a boy...

Of Being Sick

Irfan has diarrhoea. He got one when he was about 3 months old but it wasn't as bad as this time. He poo so many times yesterday that his bum bum sort of eroded (melecet). So everytime we washed him he'd shrieked as if we hit him or something. That made me dread having to wash him everytime he passed motion.

Early afternoon yesterday I went to do pap smear (it was not that painful as i thought it would be, but VERY uncomfortable). Since I had to go to the clinic near mak's house, Amin sent me off early in the morning to her place and later in the afternoon I went with Pah to the clinic.

Around 6 in the evening, Mak and Pah sent us back home and stayed for dinner. It was during that time when Irfan started to shriek real bad that they both decided to spend the night at my place.

Amin and I brought Irfan to the nearest paed, and as expected the doc gave us diarrhoea medication, dehydration salt and required us to change to soy-based milk for the time being.

Banyaknya ubat Irfan!! He loves them all! Siap tak sabar, tarik2 tangan mama everytime I feed him his medicines.

However, Irfan hates the new milk. He only drank 2 bottles throughout the whole day today. He refused the Isomil, siap pushed back my hands (with his hands) everytime I tried to bring the bottle to his mouth. (Padan la, the smell of the milk pun sungguh tak sedap apatah lagi the taste - kot) However, he fed hungrily on his solid earlier. I didn't dare give him his usual milk (Promil Gold - Wyeth) as I don't want his diarrhoea to get worse.

Samples we got from the clinic, tahan la dalam 3 days kot...

Anyway, I'm quite concern with him not wanting to drink his milk so I tried different ways of feeding him lah. Last2, I found that he'd drink it if I feed him using the syringe. Mak aih, tak ka berkurun nak feed 6 oz guna syringe for each feedings, tapi anak punya pasal takpalah. *tsk*tsk*tsk* :-p

sambil menarik2 tangan mama...nak lagiii nak lagiiii! :-D

Please get well soon dear. Penat la when you are sick like this, u become very manja tau *hish*

P/S : I miss the fasting month...
