After a long break...
2:24 PM
I'm back..........
It's been more than a week since i last write in here...or maybe more like 2 weeks i guess...First, I was busy with the sales training in PJ for the whole of last week, followed by the Product Training these last couple of days in (but thankfully it's in Penang...i couldn't stand to spend another week there in PJ due to some reasons, which some of u know lar..)
Anyway....the sales training was conducted for new recruits of FujiXerox sales teams all over Malaysia. It was very.... informative..... and my brain was overloaded with information and knowledge that it was only waiting for the right time to explode!Thank God the trainer stopped stuffing it with more info by the time i was cracking up *sigh*...Btw, the training was really fun, though i was dreading it BEFORE it started. Our trainer, Jeffrey Lim, is a really FINE man with cool demeanor...knows his stuff well...and he's got a talent for building fast rapport too! I mean like immediately upon entering the training room, i was already feeling connected to him. He was always cheerful, making good jokes most of the time....and when he gives his lecture...u'd be very impressed with his knowledge.Oh!And he calls me Siti! And asking me whether i was in any way related to the singer Siti Nur Haliza....hehehe...a good way to build a rapport i would say ... muehehehehe....hear!hear!
The module of the training was very enlightening...During the first day of the training, i was sitting there quietly on the chair...dumbfounded to find out that there's actually MORE to FujiXerox than just A PHOTOSTAT MACHINE.Hehehehe...yes mickey!it's not all about photostat machine...hmmm....and believe it or not...people are making lots and lotsa money selling it...but the thing that any good sales rep should know is...they are not just selling machines...they are selling SOLUTIONS for companies and big, big corporations; that can help increase their productivity, increase margins/profits, ease workflow bla bla bla...and in order to make GOOD MONEY out of it u've gotta be persuasive and thick skin..
Anyway, i'm quite glad that my boss decided to send me to the training as the training itself was definitely fun and i gained soooo much knowledge out of it...However, i was always dreading the break times (breakfast, lunch and tea break) as they were all chinese and all of them seemed to know each other very well...and i was like the odd one out there. And even when they were talking in English, it's as if they were talking in a language that for the light of me i couldn't understand!Talking bout people i dun know and bout topics that i dun understand..tho' i do admit i'm a blur-kind-of-girl..However, most of them especially Jeffrey the trainer was extremely nice to me...of coz it was still awkward, especially during lunch time as i was not sure if the food was really halal and the cooking utensils they used were clean of "najis"...so i hid myself in the surau instead of going to lunch there...i ate only when i got back to the hotel in the evening...but still, i'm not complaining....managed to lose a few pounds there! muehehehehe Ayu jangan jeles!!!!
After 3 days of intensive training, i finally got back to Penang on the Friday evening...Man!Was i glad to be back home! I missed the food here(it was 3-food-deprived days for me kay!)...i missed my BED! but most of all i missed writing in here!!
I'll be having another product training but thankfully this time it'll be conducted in Penang! I'm hoping to gain as much knowledge as i could grab...And well...i guess that's all for now!Amin is already waiting IMPATIENTLY downstairs..i'll write again tomorrow...till then...
