The Carnival Theme Park
7:37 PM
Last monday, while the Hindus in our country were busy celebrating Deepavali, our little family decided to have a lil celebration of the holiday that we seldom have, at a theme park.
As we woke up rather late that morning - or afternoon I'd say - our initial plan to go to Bukit Merah was cancelled. Mr Hubby suggested that we should go to the one in Sungai Petani instead, as it's nearer to home.
So that afternoon at around 1, we pushed off to the Carnival. Arrived at around 2++pm, and the weather was quite hot. Irfan slept all the way, and was still sleeping when we arrived. Mama put him in the stroller and he was stiiiiiiillll sleeping when we entered the park. Both mama and abah decided to go for the waterpark as we were pretty sure that we wouldn't be able to take Irfan along on rides they have in the dry park.
After we rented a locker and went to change, hubby had to wake Irfan up for his shower before we dip him into the ever-so-cold water. Having to wake up from his afternoon nap made Irfan quite cranky and cried when we first brought him into the pool. This little manja guy only bathe in warm water at home, so I guess he found the water too cold to his liking, hence the cries.

The place was quite pack with people, as it was a holiday. They have quite a number of pools but it couldn't beat Sunway Lagoon as the diversity of rides in The Carnival is not as good as in Sunway Lagoon.
I did enjoy playing in the water with Mr. Hubby and Irfan. Unfortunately Irfan didn't find it quite entertaining when we run under the pouring water, or when we put him under the water cascade. He was kinda screaming and reaching out to grab our shirts, clearly saying that NO! Please dun make me go through all these just yet!!! Hahaha..
But we did enjoy the Bubble Spa, where Mama and Irfan floated in the water in the big yellow pelampung with abah guiding us around.
Mr Hubby had his fun with a few rides on the slides. They have quite a few adventurous slides, and I'd say he had much fun with those. He even screamed so loud when going down one of them and later on told me that that one made his heart drop to the bottom. Haha! And then there was entertainment for the teenagers where few of the teenage boys were having fun shuffling away at the platform near the Bubble Spa. It was quite a fun show actually as I had always heard my two younger brothers talking about this dance (shuffle) and finally being able to watch it in-person made me feel kinda wanna show off to them later. Ahaks!
Overall, we'd give the place 3 out of 5 stars as the location is quite convenient to us who lives in the North, and the rides are not so bad either.
